Success, Part One: Defining Your Vision of Success

Creative/ Planning: the 1st step toward success/ Success/ Thinking

Webster defines success as:

  • the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame
  • the correct or desired result of an attempt
  • someone or something that is successful : a person or thing that succeeds

But here’s the thing, maybe your vision of success is different. No matter how you define your vision of success you need a clear vision of it to achieve it.

Does your vision include:

More time with family?

Recognition in your field/niche?

More employees?

Working from home?

More time for your hobbies?

Being your own boss?

Increasing your website traffic?

Seeing your name in lights?

Finishing that book you started in 2011?

Balancing family and work?

Leading workshops?

More customers?

Teaching/Mentoring others?

Embracing Change?

Believing in yourself?

Keeping your dining room table NOT COVERED in mail…oh wait, that’s just me, don’t let me influence your definition (this is seriously a problem ‘round these parts).

Start thinking about these things. We’re gonna talk more next time.
